This work delves into the essence of life, the irreversibility of time, and the inescapable reality of death. The story reveals death as a universal theme that transcends social classes, prompting readers to reflect on its profound significance, especially in the post-pandemic era, where global discourse revolves around the rampant influenza virus. To bring hope to his peers in the dark, he decides&nbsp;to capture the remaining glimmer in the world&nbsp;with the lens. The chapter illustrations—centered around the themes of "Digging," "The Outside," "Home," and "Dust"—delve deeply into post-apocalyptic philosophical reflections and explorations of human nature. This project aimed to spark a wave of interest in science fiction literature in China through cross-cultural artistic dialogue.
