The Masque of the Red Death" is my debut graphic novel, drawing inspiration from Western literary works, specifically adapting Edgar Allan Poe's short story. This work delves into the essence of life, the irreversible nature of time, and the inescapable reality of death. The narrative reveals death as a universal theme transcending societal strata, prompting readers to contemplate its profound implications, particularly in the post-pandemic era when the global discourse revolves around the rampant influenza virus.
In addition, readers will visualise the suspense of the story and the narrative tension created by the background elements of the Western medieval period and the cross-page storyboards.

This short story is set in a certain country where the Red Death has broken out on a large scale. The whole tone throughout the work is eerie, mysterious and weird. In the novel, the prince and his courtiers abandon the people in his territory and hide in a remote castle. , and finally, he and everyone died at the hands of the Red Death at a masquerade ball in the castle.
